Conditions

All references to "we", "us", "our" or "the website" are references to Kent Glass Engraving. “You” or “your” or “yours” refers to the ordering party or the person on whose behalf the order is made.

 

These terms and conditions are valid for any order placed on the website or via email at "kentglassengraving.com" or “contact@kentglassengraving.com”. We do not accept other terms and conditions by you. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and it is your responsibility to check before ordering.

 

Orders

All orders placed on this website and via email are binding on your behalf. When you place an order via our website or email, we will treat that as an offer to buy. We reserve the right not to begin any orders until payment has been received in full.

 

All orders received via the website or by email will be acknowledged by an email from us containing your invoice at which time we enter into a contract with you.

 

If a confirmation e-mail is not received, your order may not have been received and you should contact us to confirm this.

 

If your order includes an image that you have sent us, our acceptance of your order is conditional on the suitability of the image for use with our engraving service.  If the image you have uploaded or emailed is unsuitable, we will contact you to discuss this. Before we proceed with your order we will send you a proof for your approval.

 

We reserve the right to refuse production of engravings that, in our opinion, are or have potential to be offensive, insulting or potentially fraudulent.  In such a case, you will be informed and any money paid will be refunded.

 

Goods advertised may have become unavailable. If, in the unlikely event that certain goods advertised are not available, you will be contacted via e-mail to arrange a refund or replacement.

 

Cancellation of Orders

You cannot cancel an order for customised engraving(s) once paid.

 

Pricing

The prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT which is charged at the current applicable rate on all orders delivered to addresses within the EU.

 

The price for the goods shown on our website at the date of your order is the applicable price. Price changes may occur over a period of time and will be updated on our website.

 

If your delivery address is outside the UK, you may be required to pay import duties and taxes when your order reaches your country. These and any additional charges for customs clearance are your responsibility.

 

Design

Important: You are responsible for entering and proof reading all the text and details entered for each design of every item ordered. This includes all text. We assume that you have checked the details and that they are correct. Where possible, if poor quality artwork or obvious typographical errors are noted, we will try to contact you for confirmation of the order before production but the sole responsibility is always with you. We do not accept any liability for any costs associated with errors in engraving design prior to our manufacture and shipping.

 

Rights to use Content/Rights in Uploaded Images

You warrant that you have appropriate intellectual property rights and any other required permissions or licences to use all content, data or details you ask us to use or which you upload to our website. You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless for all liability resulting from any breach of warranties including the above mentioned breach intellectual property warranty.

 

Commercial Use/Resale of Items Incorporating engraved Images

All images or artwork, or any element of such images or artwork provided by us, are protected by the laws of copyright and may not therefore be used or copied without our permission.

 

Delivery

Your order will normally be packed and dispatched by Royal Mail first class post within 7 days of payment being received - this time frame is entirely dependant on the size of your order. Large orders can take between 2-4 weeks dependant on their size but we will discuss this with you prior to payment being processed.

 

Current shipping time/delivery times displayed on our website are to provide a guideline only and are not guaranteed.  We shall not be liable to you for any delays in delivery.

 

Please note that customers are solely responsible for entering complete and correct postal details for each order. We are not liable or responsible for any lost orders owing to incorrect information being given.

 

Returns Policy and Our Liability to You

Non-customised goods only: If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received it.  It must be unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrapping intact).  We will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.  You are responsible for the costs of the return postage.

 

Customised (engraved) glassware: In respect of customised glassware, we are unable to offer refunds unless there is an error or defect with the goods.

All goods with a clear error in manufacture will be replaced at no extra cost to you. All returns are inspected by a member of staff and a decision whether to replace or refund will be made where applicable.

 

In relation to customised goods, we are not responsible for any costs incurred in relation to customer error.

 

We shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third party claims.

 

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint, please fully detail your issue and feel free to forward this on to us either by e-mail: contact@kentglassengraving.com or post to: Kent Glass Engraving, 7 Chislet Walk, Kent, ME8 9QH and we will fully investigate the matter and respond to the complaint within 14 working days.

 

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
